We recently visited Taste of Sri Lanka in Calgary, we had String Hopper Chicken Kottu and Nasi Goreng with Mutton Rolls. We had previously tasted their food on Uber eats but the visit was totally worth it Nothing beats the freshly cooked meal with Sri Lankan spices Their portions were larger than we expected and the worth the price. Highly recommend them if you’re looking to taste Sri Lankan Food!

We moved to Calgary and was craving for some good Sri Lankan food and finally found this restaurant . The food was authentic, resonably priced and high quality service too. We ordered some mutton rolls, egg roti and chicken koththu. Everything was so flavorful. They have a variety of other Sri Lankan food offered as well. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant! We tried the Chicken Kottu, Lamprise, Nasi Goreng and Chicken Rolls. All the dishes were exceptional. The flavors were authentic and vibrant, truly capturing the essence of Sri Lankan cuisine. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for the best Sri Lankan food in Calgary! We ordered egg kottu, string hoppers (which came with coconut sambal and coconut curry), gothamba rotti, rice with beetroot and chicken curry. The fish cutlets were yummy and a must try. The food tasted like authentic Sri Lankan food and was amazing. The portions were well worth the price. Will definitely be back! Note: the shop is inside the Metro Pizza store.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Sri Lankan restaurant in Calgary, AB, and I must say it was a delightful experience.Easily the best Sri Lankan I've ever had! I must say the Service was out of this world. For the past couple of months I have tried variety of dishes to get a taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. I must say the SUNDAY SPECIAL Rice Sri Lankan style was a real treat, bursting with flavor and a perfect blend of spices. The Chicken Kottu and string hoppers combo was a unique and flavorful dish, and the Sri Lankan short eats was a delightful surprise with its fresh and vibrant flavors. The parathas were a great accompaniment, providing the perfect balance to the other dishes.If you're looking for an authentic taste of Sri Lankan cuisine in Calgary, this place is a must-visit. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like a taste of home ???????? when they are missing it!

Great Sri Lankan restaurant near downtown. We had chicken rolls , Egg roti and curry chicken Kottu. Everything is taste great. Easy access Parking. Still the name board is not up but located inside Fritou.

This was me and my friend's first time trying food from Sri Lanka and we enjoyed the food a lot! Overall, the food is quite affordable and the portions are reasonable. We ordered the Mutton Curry and it was one the best things I've had in a while. The curry looks small but it's all meat! The host was extremely friendly and helpful as he gave us some suggestions for what to order (and wasn't trying to rip us off) We even got a free sample side dish that went great with our roti! The only thing is that my friend and I came in here really hungry and the wait time is slightly longer. We ordered a chicken roll, an egg roti, a plain roti, and mutton curry, and waited around 30-40 minutes. The atmosphere of the restaurant also makes you think it is a pizza place! We highly suggest this place if you are patient to wait or order through uber eats.

Food was amazingly delicious I would suggest this restaurant to anyone in Calgary who is seeking Sri Lankan food. We tried chicken kottu roti and fish rolls that had the genuine Sri Lankan flavor.
